Local resident graduates from Lake Forest College

HIGHLAND PARK, Illinois - Brandon Lee Christopher, son of Lee and Cynthia Christopher of Streamwood, graduated from Lake Forest College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business with a concentration in Management and minor in Politics. The commencement ceremony was held at Ravinia Festival Park, 201 Ravinia Park Road, Highland Park, Illinois, on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

While at Lake Forest College, Christopher served as President of the United Black Association, a Student Coordinator for the First Connection Program, a member of the Black Men's Group, and served on several staff search committees. For 2023, he won the Lake Forest College Student Leader of the Year Award and was awarded the Lake Forest College Student Organization of the Year Award for the United Black Association. In addition, he is the first grandson of his paternal and maternal parents to graduate with a college bachelor's degree.

Christopher is a 2019 honor graduate of Streamwood High School in Streamwood, Illinois.
