Inspyr Studios presents Kids and Adults Self Defense Workshops May 5th And 7th

An officer from the Arlington Heights Police Department will introduce the program with a short talk about awareness and safety basics.

This self-defense workshop will then start with an introduction about the need for and the right to defense. The instructor will discuss the mindset, tactics and techniques that are useful in self defense situations and will demonstrate these techniques. Spatial awareness will be integrated to demonstrate ways to use the environment to your advantage. Stand up escapes and follow up attacks used in Krav Maga for common seizing methods (wrist grabs, choke holds, hair grabs) will be discussed and demonstrated. Premier Marital Arts of Arlington Heights will provide their instructor Kabir Avraham for these events and the cost is $30 per participant. Call or text 847-749-4630 to attend.
