Glen Ellyn Historical Society postpones ninth annual Vintage Car Show

The Glen Ellyn Vintage Car Show, an annual June event at Glen Ellyn's History Park, is being rescheduled for a later date, according to an announcement from Mark Lukas, president of the Glen Ellyn Historical Society.

"The Vintage Car Show is a very popular event and we are sorry to have to reschedule it," according to Lukas. "The scope and nature of this celebration of antique and vintage automobiles is such that it requires a large number of staff and volunteers to run smoothly. Unfortunately, several key volunteers with experience at this show aren't available in early June this year, so we can't be sure at this point that we will have the resources we need to do a proper job. Many of the car owners who exhibit at our show plan months in advance, so we thought it best to announce the change now."

The revised date and other updates will be posted on the Glen Ellyn Historical Society's website: gehs.org.
