June 7 FamilyFOREward golf outing to raise funds for families
Arlington Heights based nonprofit FamilyForward will host its second annual FamilyFOREward Golf Outing on Wednesday, June 7, at Old Orchard Country Club (700 W. Rand Rd., Mt. Prospect). Golfers of all skill levels are invited to gather a foursome and register for this fun event.
"It will be a great day out on the links with friends, all to benefit low-income, working families in the Northwest suburbs on their paths to financial stability and independence," said Erica Chianelli, FamilyForward executive director.
The schedule for June 7 includes check-in at 11 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at noon. Participants will enjoy 18 holes of golf (scramble format), a hotdog lunch and a concluding program at 5 p.m., featuring prizes and a buffet dinner. The registration fee is $550 for a foursome or $150 for a single golfer with Early Bird Registration by May 1. After that, prices increase by $50 for foursomes and $10 for individuals. Registration closes May 22.

FamilyForward serves low-income, working families in the Northwest suburbs by providing rent assistance, targeted, needs-based mentoring and other services for up to two years.
