Swing into Spring at the Techny Prairie Activity Center

Before we know it, it will be Spring at the Techny Prairie Activity Center! Don't miss upcoming events, programs and classes that are sure to enhance your fitness in the coming months.

Friday night Open Pickleball has been a hit new addition to the Open Gym schedule this year. Pickleball begins at 8:35 pm Friday evenings and goes until 10:05 pm. TPAC has a variety of Open Gym times available for pickleball, basketball, volleyball and badminton. Visit nbfitness.org for a full schedule.

Looking to have a much-needed date night? Drop the kids off at TPAC for Parents Night Out! Once a month, TPAC hosts this engaging event giving kids ages 2-11 a fun night playing age-appropriate games in the gym, crafts, and activities. Food and snacks are also provided. The next upcoming event is scheduled for March 18. Registration is required at nbparks.org.

Free monthly workshops for members are a fun new spin on fitness at the Techny Prairie Activity Center. Each month, join TPAC's knowledgeable instructors for free educational fitness workshops exclusively for TPAC members. Classes include Yoga Tune Up, Battle Ropes, Squat, Press & Deadlift, Balance & Functional Strength, and more.

New times for group fitness classes are providing ample opportunities to get a workout in before and after the typical 9-5 schedule. TPAC instructors are now offering additional early morning and evening times for a variety of classes such as Cycle Journey, Circuit Strength, NAMA-SLAY and more. Pickleball fanatic? Grab your doubles partner and sign up for the next Mixed Doubles Pickleball Tournament on March 18. These exciting tournaments are available for beginners and advanced players. Champions will be awarded $75 and the second-place teams will earn $50. Registration is required at nbparks.org.
