Hoosier Grove Barn receives two awards

The Streamwood Park District's award-winning Hoosier Grove Barn keeps racking up the accolades.

On Friday, Jan. 20, the park district announced that Hoosier Grove Barn, 700 W. Irving Park Road, has again received the WeddingWire Couples' Choice Award and The Knot Best of Weddings Award for 2023.

"I would like to congratulate and thank Event and Corporate Services Manager Mallory Lorence and her staff for a job well done on another fantastic year of events at Hoosier Grove Barn," said Streamwood Park District Executive Director Jeff Janda.

In 2022, Hoosier Grove Barn hosted 85 weddings as well as an additional 46 rental events. To date, more than 60 additional weddings have already been booked for 2023.

The Barn's rustic charm and fully renovated interior have made it an ideal venue for weddings and special occasions of all kinds.

A former dairy barn, Hoosier Grove Barn is Streamwood's oldest facility, dating back to 1888. The barn sits on the campus of Hoosier Grove Park, adjacent to the historic, one-room Hoosier Grove schoolhouse, which has since been converted into the Hoosier Grove Museum. Public tours of the museum resume this summer.
