Lavelle Law Attorney Elected to Chamber Board

Lavelle Law Associate Frank Portera has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Arlington Heights Chamber of Commerce. Portera has been active in the 500+ member group for several years.

"Frank is a great example of the commitment our attorneys and partners make to local communities," said Ted McGinn, managing partner of the 37-attorney firm. "Local chambers of commerce are really the heartbeat of business in the communities we serve and I am pleased to see Frank take on a leadership role in an organization as highly-regarded as the Arlington Heights chamber."

Portera devotes much of his practice to business law and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to his chamber involvement, he serves on the Board of Directors for Gerry's Café in Arlington Heights and is a member of the Arlington Heights Zoning Board of Appeals.

"It has always been important to me to be involved in the community," said Portera, who received both his undergrad and law degrees from Marquette University. "The chamber plays an important role in the business community and I look forward to contributing to its continued success in this new role."
