Glenview Clergy Association gives thanks in interfaith service

The Glenview Clergy Association will hold its annual interfaith Thanksgiving service at Glenview Community Church on Nov. 22.

The service, "We Give Thanks," will be at 7:30 p.m. at the church, 1000 Elm St., Glenview.

The Glenview Clergy Association is an interfaith coalition of religious leaders throughout greater Glenview.

The Rev. James Matarazzo, senior pastor at Glenview Community Church, will give the keynote reflection of "We Give Thanks," and fellow members of the association will offer readings and prayers.

As is tradition with this service, a monetary offering will be split equally between Wesley Child Care, Glenview Youth Services and Character Counts in Glenview.

Additionally, a food collection will be held for the Northfield Township Food Pantry. People attending the service are encouraged to donate food staples, pet food or household supplies.

"We Give Thanks" will be held in-person but also livestreamed at www.gccucc.com.
