The Einsatzgruppen Trial -The Biggest Murder Trial in History: 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at Illinois Holocaust Museum, 9603 Woods Drive, Skokie. Following the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg in 1945, the United States conducted 12 additional trials against other significant members of the Nazi regime. One of these trials involved 24 defendants of the notorious mobile killing units (Einsatzgruppen) for their role in murdering Jews, Communists, and countless others during Nazi Germany's campaign against the Soviet Union. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was probably the most prolific and influential classical composers in Vienna during the mid-to-late 1700s. His life has been analyzed in books and even films, but little is known of the circumstances surrounding his untimely death.
