Free Genealogy Workshop to be presented by the DAR

Saturday October 29, 2022, at 9:30 am, a FREE genealogy workshop will be presented by The Eli Skinner Chapter, National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR). The workshop will be conducted in partnership with the Palatine Library, 700 North Court, Palatine. The workshop will be designed to accommodate all levels of experience for genealogists. Members of the chapter will be available to provide attendees with individualized help. A presentation by volunteer field genealogists will highlight the free digital resources of the NSDAR website. Tips and tricks about how to use FamilySearch and Ancestry.com, along with the NSDAR lineage database will be a focus. The rich resources of the national society include over 7 million proven family trees, and access to thousands of digitized library books.
