Local League of Women Voters to host annual fundraiser at Lynfred Winery

The League of Women Voters of Roselle-Bloomingdale will host its annual fall membership kickoff and fundraiser titled, "Building a Stronger League" from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Lynfred Winery, 15 S. Roselle Road in Roselle.

2022-23 will be a year of growth and accomplishment as we build a stronger local League.

Donna Limper, the League's Issues and Advocacy chair, will be sharing our priorities and gathering feedback on the issues that are most important to the community for the League to focus on in 2022-23. The evening will include a wine tasting and cheese pairings along with several fun activities to help members get to know one another better. There will be several raffle items including bottles of Lynfred wine and delicious treats from Chocolate Inspirations.

Advance tickets are $30 or $35 at the door. It includes the wine tasting and a sampling of cheeses and other appetizers. For advance registration go to my.lwv.org/illinois/rosellebloomingdale/.
