Create a fall centerpiece with Bloomingdale Artists Association Nov. 16
On Wednesday, Nov. 16, the Bloomingdale Artists Association is offering the opportunity to "Create a Fall 'Silk' Centerpiece/Swag" with Lyn Tietz at 6:30 p.m. in the Bloomingdale Park District Museum, 108 S. Bloomingdale Road.
Add some fall color to your home with a stunning silk centerpiece or swag. Work along with Tietz as she demonstrates her creativity with silk floral materials.
Tietz is a graduate of the University of Illinois and pursued a career in interior design. She began painting in 1997 after taking art classes at College of DuPage. The subjects of her work are diverse, including animals, flowers, people, landscape and still life. Her love of art extends to floral arrangements.
There is a $20 materials fee for each member plus an additional $10 fee for visitors. Consider becoming a member.
The Bloomingdale Artists Association welcomes new members, beginner to experienced artists, or anyone just curious about art.
Membership dues for the calendar year of September 2022 through May 2023 are $30.
