Markiewicz Dental spreads smiles with Let It Be Us

At the beginning of 2022, Markiewicz Dental started their Spreading Smiles program, a charitable initiative aimed at positively impacting the community beyond the dental chair. They committed to donating $1000 each quarter to local charities or organizations making a significant impact in their community. Organizations are nominated by members of the community. Previous 2022 winners include the Lake County Haven and the Special Gifts Theater.

This month, Let It Be Us was chosen as the third Spreading Smiles winner of 2022. With over 200,000 children in foster care in Illinois today, Let It Be Us aims to change the landscape of foster care in their community by recruiting foster parents and helping children in care find loving families. No other agency works as comprehensively with prospective foster parents as Let It Be Us. Markiewicz Dental was proud to support such a meaningful and impactful organization in their community. Those interested can learn more about their organization and how to get involved by visiting their website: letitbeus.org

Markiewicz Dental is a family owned, operated, and oriented general dental office located in Mundelein. Since 1988, Dr. Anthony Markiewicz, Dr. David Markiewicz, and their team have been providing comprehensive and quality dentistry for their community. The Spreading Smiles initiative has given them an opportunity to expand their reach in the community beyond the patients they see in their office.

All community members are encouraged to nominate worthy local charities or organizations for the next Spreading Smiles $1000 donation, which will be awarded in December.
