Yvonne Mortimer named managing broker of BHHS Chicago's offices in western suburbs
Joe Stacy, senior vice president, general sales manager and managing broker of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago's Glen Ellyn, Naperville and Wheaton offices, is pleased to announce the promotion of Yvonne Mortimer to Managing Broker of these offices as well as the Schaumburg office.
Previously, Mortimer was Operations Manager. Stacy will turn his full attention to coaching and fostering agents' career growth.
Stacy said, "I'm so pleased to announce Yvonne's promotion to managing broker of our Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Schaumburg and Wheaton offices. She has been a terrific addition to the BHHS Chicago Leadership Team and to our western suburban offices since joining us earlier this year as Operations Manager. Her knowledge of our business and her knowledge of this market has helped us move forward confidently, in a high velocity market and in this moderating one. She will continue to build on our success in DuPage County and help our agents as they grow their businesses."
Before joining BHHS Chicago early in 2022, Yvonne was Director of Agent Development at Baird & Warner where she worked out of their Glen Ellyn office. Prior to that, she was a managing broker for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Oak Brook, a position she held for seven years. She was also a REALTOR® for Coldwell Banker for 26 years, five of which were as Assistant Manager of the firm's Hinsdale office.
Mortimer has earned multiple professional designations including Certified Short Sale and Foreclosure Specialist, Certified Relocation Specialist and Certified Negotiation Specialist. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Randolph College in Lynchburg, Virginia.
