Barrington's Catchpenny Resale Shoppe Turns 50 in July!

The Catchpenny Resale Shoppe at 118 E. Main Street, Barrington, sponsored by the Volunteer Auxiliary of Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, is celebrating its 50th anniversary at its current location. Come join in the fun, refreshments and featured sales Tuesday, July 26, through Saturday, July 30, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Catchpenny proceeds are returned to the hospital through healthcare scholarships, patient comfort items and hospital clinical enhancements that improve patient care. Run day to day by volunteers who look forward to giving back to their community, the shoppe features gently used clothing, accessories, jewelry, books and smaller houseware items.
