Help Famous Burrito bowl over the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry during donation drive Feb. 6-13
The upcoming professional football event isn't the only game in town! In fact, the biggest competition going will pit the El Famous Burrito Lombard restaurant against the El Famous Burrito Glendale Heights restaurant in a battle to collect the most food for the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry!
From Feb. 6-13, customers who donate at least one can of food on a curbside, carryout or dine-in order will score one free taco valued at up to $2.99.
Those who forget the donation can just roundup the check $2 and receive a free taco.
Last year, the Lombard El Famous Burrito at 256 W. Roosevelt Road was the big winner with 353.4 pounds collected over the Glendale Heights store at 1164 Bloomingdale Road, which collected just 37 pounds.
Who will be the big winner in 2022? Stop off at your favorite location and help it claim bragging rights!

The Glen Ellyn Food Pantry provides essential groceries and support to people at risk of hunger through a collaboration of local churches and the broader community.
The pantry is dedicated to "making hunger history" in the 12 communities it serves: Addison, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Glen Ellyn, Glendale Heights, Lisle, Lombard, Villa Park, Warrenville, West Chicago, Wheaton, and Winfield.
In 2021, the pantry served 836,000 pounds of food to more than 4,000 neighbors, 35 percent of which were children.
