Rusted Root Frontman Michael Glabicki Brings Fresh Take on His Catalogue to Hey Nonny

Almost three decades ago, Michael Glabicki started writing songs and performing live. A few years later, his band - Rusted Root - captured the imagination of fans with their energetic fusion of rock and world music. Glabicki has continued to evolve his writing and performance styles, and on Dec. 29, he returns to Hey Nonny in Arlington Heights for a special performance.

A limited number of tickets remain for this highly regarded singer-songwriter who promises to share new work along with fresh views of his Rusted Root music.

"We are thrilled to welcome Michael back to Hey Nonny," said co-owner Chip Brooks. "His first visit was right after we opened in 2018, and it was magical."

Hey Nonny has built its reputation on providing a variety of musical genres from night to night and Brooks believes that the range of Glabicki's styles will represent that approach in one night.

"Rusted Root carved out a unique presence on the music scene and followers of the band still cherish the unique sound and energetic shows they presented," said Brooks. "Fans will be excited to know that Michael will be joined by former Rusted Root guitarist and vocalist Dirk Miller for this show."
