Experience howling Halloween fun during Boo at the Zoo

This fall season, guests of all ages can dress up in their favorite costumes and head to Randall Oaks Zoo for the annual "Boo at the Zoo."

The Halloween-themed event, which takes place on Saturday, Oct. 30, and Sunday, Oct. 31, features memorable photo opportunities, sweet treats, and the beautiful autumn backdrop of Randall Oaks Park.

"Boo at the Zoo" will once again offer guests safe, affordable, family-friendly entertainment. Trick-or-treat throughout the zoo, enjoy animal shows at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., and a bonfire from noon to 5 p.m., plus guests may also hop aboard a hayride throughout Randall Oaks Park for an additional charge.

Guests are encouraged to dress up and partake in our costume contests at 1 p.m. each day for a chance to win a zoo membership.

Categories for the costume contest are as follows: ages 3 and under, ages 4-6, ages 7-14, and adults. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 in each category.

Everyone can participate in trick-or-treating throughout the zoo. Please bring your own reusable bags or containers to collect goodies.

"Boo at the Zoo" will take place rain or shine from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Admission to Randall Oaks Zoo is $4 for Dundee Township residents and $4.75 for nonresidents; children ages 1 or younger are free.
