Streamwood Park District memorial Program

Special people and momentous occasions deserve to be memorialized in time.

The Streamwood Park District Memorial Program offers patrons the opportunity to memorialize loved ones, accomplishments, and achievements in a timeless and unique way throughout the park district with trees, brick pavers, and park benches.

Memorial Trees are living dedications that provide a variety of aesthetic and environmental benefits for Streamwood's parks. Planted during the spring or autumn seasons, our collection of shade, ornamental, or evergreen trees give long-lasting life to cherished memories. Memorial Trees start as low as $335.

The Memorial Bench is a six-foot ADA-accessible bench made from recycled material that will be placed at the park of your choice. The placement of the bench will be coordinated with the Parks Department to ensure your satisfaction. For added memorial value, an engraving with your own personalized message can be added. Memorial Benches start at $1,400.

The Memorial Brick Paver is 4 by 8 inches with an engraved personalized message. Bricks will be placed at the memorial circle of Park Place Family Recreation Center in partnership with RUSH Physical Therapy. Memorial Bricks start at $75.

To enshrine your most cherished memory in the Streamwood community, please visit Streamwood Park District online at streamwoodparks.org/parks/memorial-program, or contact Park Manager Amy Vito at avito@spdcares.com.

If interested in securing a Memorial Tree for an autumn planting, orders are due by Sept. 30.

The Streamwood Park District serves more than 40,000 Streamwood residents, offering hundreds of seasonal programs. Ranging from fitness, aquatics, youth and adult athletics, the Streamwood Park District continues to strive to accommodate the diverse Streamwood community on a daily basis with a multitude of programs, events, and classes.
