Chow down at Hanover Township's Fall Food Truck Festival Sept. 16
Hanover Township will host its annual Fall Food Truck Festival from 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 16 at the township's William Tiknis Campus, 250 S. Route 59, Bartlett.
Attendees will have the opportunity to visit a variety of food trucks, enjoy live music and receive information on the township's programs and services.
"The fest brings our neighbors together with live music, food trucks and fun," said Brian P. McGuire, Hanover Township supervisor. "More importantly, the event provides an opportunity for residents to learn more about the services Hanover Township provides right in their own community."
Attendees will have the opportunity to talk with officials and staff about the township's programs for adults 55 and older, after-school-programs for youth, property tax appeal assistance, veterans programs, health screenings, food pantry programs and more.
Food vendors include Duke's Blues-N-BBQ, Yum Dum Truck, Pierogi Rig, Puff Truck - Pizza Puff Food Truck, My Funnel, Perk n' Pickle, Tacos Locos, Taste of Jamaica & Southern Cooking, and Cook's Ice Cream.
Classic rock cover band Get Back Chicago will perform live.
Attendees are encouraged to utilize the off-site parking options at the Village Church of Bartlett, 601 W. Bartlett Road, Bartlett, and the northeast Metra Parking Lot, south Eastern Avenue and west Bartlett Avenue, Bartlett. Free shuttles will provide transportation to and from the campus.
