Free Flu Shots Coming to Schaumburg Library

Free flu shots for all ages will be available on three dates in September at the Schaumburg Township District Library and its branches. Healthcare workers from Jewel-Osco Pharmacy will administer flu shots with no appointment necessary from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3 in Workshop at the Central Library, 130 S. Roselle Road; Saturday, Sept. 4 at the Hanover Park Branch Library, 1266 Irving Park Road; and Saturday, Sept. 25 at the Hoffman Estates Branch Library, 1550 Hassell Road.

Masks are required for all program attendees, regardless of vaccination status, and sanitizer will be available at the program. Library guidelines include respecting others by maintaining a social distance and not attending programs if experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.

The Schaumburg Township District Library and its branches in Hoffman Estates and Hanover Park are open to the public with limited capacity and hours in accordance with state guidelines. For more information, go to SchaumburgLibrary.org or call the library at (847) 985-4000.
