Giving back
Mia Willentzik, 13, of Northbrook, is a huge animal lover despite being terribly allergic to both cats and dogs. For her Bat Mitzvah project, she collected blankets for the animals at Riverwoods animal shelter Orphans of the Storm, and also raised over $1,000.
