Bloomingdale summer concert series returns June 8
Summer concerts are back! Enjoy a variety of music styles during the free Bloomingdale Summer Concert Series. Concerts begin at 7 p.m. Tuesdays, June 8 to Aug. 10, at Circle Park, 163 Fairfield Way. There will be no concerts on July 6 and Aug. 3.
The concert will open on June 8 with Flat Cats playing swinging jazz and blues.
On June 15, the Good Clean Fun Band will perform country, dance, pop, disco, and R&B.
It will be followed by Peach's Beach Party, a Jimmy Buffet tribute band, on June 22.
The popular Hillbilly Rockstarz will play country, Top 40, and classics on June 29.
On July 13, Shout Out will play music from the 1960s to today's rock, pop, and Top 40.
On July 20, the Neverly Brothers will offer a "Rock 'n' Roll Tribute: Elvis to Beatles."
On July 27, the Second Hand Soul Band will perform a variety of music from Motown, soul, and rock 'n' roll.
American English, the Beatles tribute band, will close out the season on Aug. 10.
Concerts are presented by the Village of Bloomingdale, Bloomingdale Public Library and Bloomingdale Park District.
Due to COVID-19 regulations and restrictions, the following rules apply.
Be sure to maintain a distance of 6 feet from others. All patrons must follow social distancing and mask mandates.
Parking is available at Circle South, Westfield Middle School, Johnston Recreation Center and on Fairfield Way.
Bathrooms are available at the Homola Picnic Shelter at the north end of Circle Park.
No alcohol or smoking is allowed on park property.
