Free professional cooking demos to help domestic violence victims continues
Join the North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic and Ravinia Brewing/BWB Rocks at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 10, for a free virtual cooking demonstration.
The clinic hosts the demonstrations by professional chefs the second Thursday of every month, and anyone with questions about domestic violence can ask attorneys anonymously in the live chat.
No domestic violence content will be shown on the video. Guests can log on anonymously using an alias throughout the hour. No registration is required.
This month, guests can learn how Chef Elmer Martinez makes Ravinia Brewing's delicious tacos. One of the fastest-growing brands in the Chicagoland area, Ravinia Brewing Company has a cozy Taproom and Taco Bar located in the historic Ravinia Business District in Highland Park. The Taproom features amazing craft beer, live music, and an expansive beer garden. Ravinia Brewing will be opening its second location in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago in 2021.

The North Suburban Legal Aid Clinic is dedicated to reaching victims of domestic violence with information about how to obtain help and stay safe. The most important thing we can do is let victims and allies know about unique resources that are available.
