New NCH Women's Center opens

Designed for women by women

AJ Steinbruecker

Today, Northwest Community Healthcare is pleased to announce the opening of a new Women's Center, with a combination of current and new women's health services in a new location in the Busse Center on the hospital campus in Arlington Heights.

"The Women's Center represents the next step toward expanding the comprehensive women's health care NCH has provided for many years and is a continuation of our mission to meet the needs of our female patient base," shares NCH gynecologist Dawn Sadowski, M.D. "We realize that women often delay their own health care in order to meet the needs of others. We hope the center's relaxing and spa-like surroundings will help facilitate a welcoming experience for women as they ultimately invest the time to focus on their own personal health and wellness."

The Women's Center offers a wide range of services in a relaxing atmosphere that was designed by an all-women architecture firm. Two of NCH's top women's health practitioners codeveloped the mix of services offered at the Women's Center to ensure it included a comprehensive set of offerings in a single location.

Currently, the center offers breast health services, including a complete offering of screening and diagnostic services, along with a Pelvic Floor and Bladder Program including pelvic floor physical therapy, bladder treatments, biofeedback, urodynamics and minimally-invasive surgical treatments.

The second phase of the Women's Center, expected in 2022, will offer expanded services including osteopenia treatment, life-stage hormonal therapy, weight loss assistance and more.

Appointments are now available.
