Stop by Blooming Fest Plant Sale May 15 at WeGrow Dreams Greenhouse

The Blooming Fest Plant Sale will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at We Grow Dreams Greenhouse & Garden Center, 1055 W. Washington St. in West Chicago.

You must show the flyer available atwestchicago.org to receive discount $10 off when you spend $50 or $20 off when you spend $100.

As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to cause cancellations of many public gatherings across the country, the City of West Chicago announced earlier this year that in the interest of public health and safety it is canceling Blooming Fest, the downtown garden festival scheduled for Saturday, May 15.

City staff has created related activities and giveaways on the Blooming Fest Facebook page for the month of May to keep the community engaged and to offset some of the disappointment felt over the event's cancellation.

Additionally, working with a community partner, WeGrow Dreams Greenhouse & Garden Center, plants will be offered at discounted prices on Saturday, May 15, to keep the gardening spirit and momentum of which the downtown garden festival is known to inspire, alive in 2021. Visit wegrowdreams.org.
