One injured after motorcycles collide in Cary
Cary Fire Protection District officials said a motorcyclist sustained minor injuries in a crash Tuesday night.
Cary police officials confirmed two motorcycles were headed westbound on Crystal Street at 8:45 p.m. when the rear motorcycle was changing lanes and clipped the rear tire of the lead motorcycle, causing both vehicles to crash. No citations were issued.
One motorcyclist suffered nonlife-threatening injuries and was transported to Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Lake Barrington. The injuries were described as a "road rash." The other motorcyclist was treated and the scene and refused transport, fire officials said.
