Glenbrook South boys swim team celebrates state championship win with a splash
The Glenbrook South High School boys swim team celebrated their state championship with a splash Friday night.
The team - and their trophy - jumped into the pool after being recognized during halftime at South's game vs. Maine South.
Among the highlights of South's swimmers' strong season was Max Iida's state record-shattering time in the 200 IM, beating the second-place finisher by about 7 seconds.
The record he broke?
His brother, Sam's, set at the state meet in 2017.
