Neighbors Helping Neighbors a huge success in uncertain times!

The Rotary Club of Northbrook has always been a philanthropic club. As Rotarians, the Northbrook Club supports global missions such as ending polio, providing X-ray machines and clean water to underprivileged nations. But did you know they practice a "charity starts at home" mindset?

To that end the club hosted a Neighbors Helping Neighbors [NHN] Reverse Raffle was live streamed from the NSYMCA on March 13, 2021 at 6:30 pm to raise funds for its projects.

Three $100 prizes were drawn and awarded to James Karagianis Judith Hughes and Aaron Kapp. The Grand Prize of $5,000 was awarded to John Howard.

"Participation in this reverse-raffle will help support a number of local non-profits and charitable groups in our neighborhoods," according to Gayle Cursio, chair of the fundraising committee who also thanked the sponsors, "We could not have raised these important funds without you."

The Global Sponsor is The First Bank of Highland Park; and the Community Supporter is Saf-T-Gard along with Club Supporter sponsor group that includes VIPs like long time members and civic leaders Sandy and Carlos Frum; Quick Kill Exterminating; Sunset Foods; Northbrook Bank & Trust Company; Fields Auto Group; Miller, Cooper & Co.
