Celebrate the season with Northbrook Park District virtual and at-home activities

Staying home for the holidays? Let Northbrook Park District bring the fun to you!

An amazing lineup of holiday-themed virtual and at-home special events are planned, allowing families to make memories together. Activities include the exciting "Candy Cane Hunt" Dec. 14-18. Northbrook Park District staff will leave behind hidden candy canes for a private hunt at your house. Registration is required.

Other upcoming holiday events include:

• Step-by-Step Painting - Winter Penguin from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10;

• Gingerbread Workshop at Home on Wednesday, Dec. 9;

• Snowman Scavenger Hunt on Monday, Dec. 14 through Monday, Dec. 21

• Northbrook Family Trivia Night - Holiday Movies from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18;

• Winter Break Boxes - Available for pickup starting Dec. 17.

"The Northbrook Park District is committed to serving our community even through challenging times," said Katie Kotloski, recreation division manager. "Our at-home events and additional virtual activities including dance, drama, music and art are a great way to keep connected and engaged with friends and family this winter. We meet you where you are!"
