YMCA's North Suburban School of Dance joins Glenview's Drive-Thru Holiday Parade Nov. 28

The YMCA's North Suburban School of Dance has announced its participation the Village of Glenview's drive-through holiday parade Saturday, Nov. 28.

Due to the pandemic, the parade, scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m., will be “static” where participants and floats remain stationary as paradegoers drive by the parade participants.

With this year's socially-distanced format, paradegoers will be able to stay warm in their cars as they drive by Glenview's unique holiday entertainment display. The parade will be held in the parking spaces opposite Jackman Park with the parade-goer route running south on Lehigh Avenue from Washington Street to Glenview Road.

“Our dancers are thrilled to finally perform live. We're working on a variety of surprise holiday-themed dances which will be really fun for the audience,” remarked Shannon Mundorf, senior director of arts at the North Suburban YMCA.
