Help Chicagoland Blue Star Mothers sending care packages to troops
Chicagoland Blue Star Mothers IL6 is collecting items for our Care Packages for Deployed Troops Collection Drive! From now until Oct. 25, they will be collecting items from our attached flyer or https://www.facebook.com/ChicagolandBlueStarMothers and funds through PayPal to send care packages to troops deployed overseas, including those who have mothers in our chapter!
These care packages mean so much to our troops and give them a little love from home during the holidays when it is hard to be so far away.
This year we have 4 ways to donate to us and help us help our troops!

Simply follow the link, shop from our prepared list, choose and purchase items and they will be shipped directly to us! Shop from home and help the troops at the same time!
2. PayPal Donations

Donate through our PayPal link to help with filling out our list and with postage.
3. Collection Site
Shop from our attached list and drop off at our collection site at DoodleBug Workshop,
314 S. Main St. Wheaton, IL 60187.

Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 11:00 am-1:30 pm at Mission BBQ, Downers Grove, IL
Sunday, October 25, 2020 from 1:00-3:30 pm at 1805 High Grove Lane, Naperville, IL
One thing from the list we can always use more of is letters from home! Our troops love to read your card or letter, or see a drawing made by you or your child. Those messages help them know that their sacrifice is meaningful and supported by all of us! Those can be dropped off at our Collection Site and Drive By Drop Off Sites, or they can be mailed to us at Chicagoland Blue Star Mothers IL6, PO Box 881, Warrenville, IL 60555.
After Halloween until November 6, we will also collect any leftover individually wrapped Halloween candy you may have! Contact us for details on that. Our troops love to have some candy to remind them of home and give them a treat!
With so many options, there is something that will work for everyone! We cannot wait to receive your donations, get them packed up, and send them to our sons and daughters and all our troops serving in deployed areas during the holidays. As we thank them for their sacrifice, we thank you for your support!!
