Saint Viator welcomes new alumni relations manager

Saint Viator High School in Arlington Heights has announced the hiring of alumna Krystal Harris (Class of 2015) as the new alumni relations manager for the school. Harris joined the staff August 3.

"We are thrilled to welcome Krystal back to Saint Viator," said Vice President of Development Tom Ramsden. "We conducted an extensive search this summer and are fortunate to have someone with Krystal's skillset, enthusiasm and passion for Saint Viator High School to fill this role."

Harris is a graduate of Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame, Indiana. Harris was a member of the Saint Mary's softball team and graduated with a degree in Business Administration: Management and Marketing.

"It's an honor to be presented with this opportunity," said Harris. "Saint Viator played an important role in my development as a student, an athlete and an individual and I cannot wait to get back and begin contributing in this new role."

Harris will oversee the events and activities of the Saint Viator and Sacred Heart of Mary Alumni Association, which include more than 15,000 graduates of the two schools, which merged in 1987. Assisting her in the effort is a 20+ member Alumni Association Board.

"There is a great deal of work ahead to move our alumni forward," said Ramsden. "We rely on them not only for financial support but for mentoring current students, providing job opportunities to young alumni and for volunteering to serve on various boards and committees that allow Saint Viator to grow and remain viable in a constantly changing educational environment."
