Indian-American groups conduct food drive for Schaumburg Township

Volunteers and office bearers of the Federation of Indian Associations, FIA-Chicago and the Indian American Cultural Association (IACA) jointly conducted a food drive on June 2 at Schaumburg Township.

FIA and IACA jointly contributed about 30 boxes of food and other essential supplies to the township's food pantry, which is operating an emergency drive-through distribution every Tuesday and Thursday.

Schaumburg Mayor Tom Dailly, FIA founder and President Sunil Shah, FIA VP and IACA founding President Vinita Gulabani, Schaumburg Township trustees Nimish Jani and Charlotte Kegarise, and many other FIA and IACA members joined the cause.
