FIT4MOM's Suzanne Lenisa wins Bloomingdale Area Women in Business scholarship
Bloomingdale Area Women in Business named Suzanne Lenisa of FIT4MOM as this year's scholarship winner.
Lenisa will be using the scholarship to achieve an American Council on Exercise Group Fitness Instructor Certification, as well as additional class certifications within FIT4MOM. Her goal is to impact and connect with more women in our community to help them lead stronger and healthier lives.
Bloomingdale Area Women in Business is a dynamic group of women who are seeking to expand professional opportunities for themselves in the Bloomingdale area. The group welcomes women who possess the ability to: "empower, embrace and equip women with the knowledge and resources to achieve their personal goals and reach their professional potential."
The $1,000 scholarship is awarded to a woman who is looking to improve herself professionally by such means as continued education or professional development with the goal of furthering her knowledge and expertise.
This scholarship is based on:
• Personal investment in education and career progression
• Community involvement, including volunteer or employment positions
• Industry involvement, including networking and committee positions
