Alleluia Quartet to perform Feb. 8 at Elgin's Epworth UMC

On Saturday, Feb. 8, Epworth United Methodist Church in Elgin will present Alleluia Quartet in a special performance following a fundraising spaghetti dinner.

This is their first time in concert in the Elgin area.

The evening will begin with a spaghetti dinner at 5 p.m. to benefit Epworth's mission trip to Spirit Lake, North Dakota. There will be a free-will offering taken for the meal.

After the meal, Alleluia Quartet brings their special style of quartet music in a special concert at 6 p.m. The concert is free, and the building is handicapped accessible for all.

Alleluia Quartet on their website says, "We're just four guys, called by God to share hope, grace, and love." They have performed all over Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa, bringing this message to all. Tenor Todd Scott says; "This is a ministry. Wherever we go, we worship. And we have been given the opportunity to worship with people in many different places." Alleluia Quartet has been singing together for over 30 years and has multiple recordings to their name. Their latest release "Alleluia," recorded in Denver Colorado, is in the works and will be released in early spring.

Enjoy an evening of food, fun, and music as Alleluia Quartet performs on this special night!
