Christmas Light Show Raising Money for a Local School

The Bialas family holiday light show officially opened on November 8th and will run through the end of the year. The show is located at 2145 Lee St in Des Plaines, near Allstate Arena. The show consists of over 10,000 lights, fashioned into candy canes, Christmas bulbs, nutcrackers, arches, and more. The lights are synchronized to six songs for a total show length of 22 minutes, which can be heard by tuning your car radio to FM 88.3. A donation box is located at the front of the display, 100% of which will go to the Plainfield PTSO, the school which the Bialas family boys attend. Donations are also accepted online at www.desplaineschristmaslights.com where more information about the show can be found. The show runs Sunday through Thursday from 5 to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 to 11p.m.
