Heartland Animal Shelter Gala Raises Over $85,000

Heartland Animal Shelter's 17th Golden Paw Gala raised $88,000 on October 5 at the Sunset Ridge Country Club in Northfield, Ill. Funds raised will be used to continue the mission of the Shelter and go toward purchase of an x-Ray machine to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of animals in need of these services.

ABC7's Diane Pathieu emceed the event which included a live auction and wine cork pull hosted by Ron Bernardi of Sunset Foods. The 175 guests also enjoyed an open bar, appetizers and a sit-down dinner.
