Free Family Halloween Treat at Mundelein Park District

Have a ghostly good time in the spirit of Halloween at Mundelein Park & Recreation District's (www.mundeleinparks.org) annual BOO BASH event on Saturday, October 26 from 3:30-6 pm at Community Park and the Community Center (1401 N. Midlothian Road). It's the perfect prelude to Halloween for families. Besides indoor trick-or-treating, there will be festive fun outdoor activities like tractor pulled wagon rides, games like pumpkin bowling, eyeball in a hay stack and witches hat toss. There will be a photo booth, bounce house, pumpkin carving demonstrations, disc jockey, magician (www.garykantor.com) and more. BOO BASH is one of Mundelein Park & Recreation District's most popular events, transforming the Community Center gymnasium into an indoor trick or treating bonanza where nearly 40 area businesses come together to hand out treats and other giveaways.

New to Boo Bash this year is the addition of a pumpkin patch, courtesy of Century 21 Affiliated of Mundelein. The first 500 families will be able to select a pumpkin to take home!

Thanks to Boo Bash Partners Rose Pest Solutions and Xfinity, and Musical Entertainment Partner Center for Wellness Chiropractic Care, this fall tradition has expanded from being an all-indoor event to include many outdoor activities.

Costumes are encouraged and event is held rain or shine, so please prepare for the many outdoor activities as well as indoor. No registration is required for this free event. Food will be available for purchase from Doctor Dogs food truck .
