CCSD21 scheduled three focus groups in support of strategic planning effort

Community Consolidated School District 21 is inviting parents, staff members, and district residents to attend one of the scheduled focus groups to provide input to the District 21 Strategic Plan team.

Focus group participants will review data about School District 21 student achievement, climate, facilities, technology and operations. Then, participants will be asked to review the Strategic Plan team's draft SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) Analysis and indicate which elements resonate strongly or if elements are missing from the analysis.

Focus group feedback, as well as feedback collected through an online survey, will be reviewed by the Strategic Plan team. The team will refine the SWOT Analysis and, ultimately, draft the district's Strategic Plan.

Focus group sessions will run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at London Middle School in Wheeling, and Thursday, Oct. 24, at Holmes Middle School in Wheeling.
