2019 Miss Cary-Grove is crowned at business scholarship pageant

Twelve young women competed for the crown in the 2019 Miss Cary-Grove Business Scholarship Pageant on Monday, May 13.

Congratulations to 2019 Miss Cary-Grove Alexis Robinson, who was sponsored by Brunch Café. Alexis will receive a $2,000 scholarship for college.

The first runner-up, Lily Johnson, sponsored by Cary Travel Express, will receive a $750 scholarship. Second runner-up Emily Thompson, sponsored by Countryside Flower Shop, Nursery and Garden Center, will be receiving a $500 scholarship.

Emily Thompson also won Miss Congeniality, and Miss Photogenic was awarded to Alexis Robinson.

All the contestants did a fantastic job and it was a wonderful evening!
