Pony Up: Kentucky Derby Charity Party Benefits Hadley May 4

In celebration of the 145th Run for the Roses, the Hadley Woman's Board is encouraging all Chicagoans to break out their big, bright hats and bow ties and pony up for a good cause at a Kentucky Derby party on Saturday, May 4, 3 p.m.-7 p.m., at Skokie Country Club, 500 Washington Ave., in Glencoe.

Tickets are $125 per person and include southern cuisine, a selection of beverages including mint juleps, and plenty of fun surprises. To purchase tickets or view other donation options, visit www.bidpal.net/hadleykentuckyderbyparty2019.

Proceeds benefit Winnetka-based Hadley, which celebrates 100 years in 2020. Hadley is the largest provider of distance education for people who are blind or visually impaired around the world, serving more than 100,000 learners annually in all 50 states and in 100 countries. "The Kentucky Derby is such a great tradition and having others along to anticipate post time while raising money for a great cause is a cool way to enjoy race day," said Hadley President Julie Tye.

Participating sponsors include Fiduciary Management Inc., Corbin Capital Partners, American Realty Advisors, Marquette Associates, Matsock Insurance & Financial Services, Fitzgerald APD, and Clune Construction Company.
