Free Workshop: Getting Accepted & Affording Top-Tier Colleges

April 16th at the Schaumburg Public Library

Getting into a highly selective college is tough. But even if your student can get in, how will you pay for it? That's the question experts from My College Planning Team and C-2 Education will answer in a FREE workshop in Schaumburg on April 16th .

"How to Get Accepted and Optimize Your Financial Aid at a Top Tier College" will take place at 7 p.m. on April 16 at the Schaumburg Public Library, 130 S. Roselle Road. The workshop will offer both academic strategies that will increase a student's chance of admission to America's top-ranked colleges and universities as well as little known financial tips that will help make those dream schools more affordable. This new 90-minute program is packed with the latest changes the best schools are implementing and how families can take advantage of them.

My College Planning Team has offered its free college planning workshops at more than 100 libraries, park districts, high schools and other non-profit venues throughout the suburban Chicago area. They are honored to have C-2 Education add their expertise for this new workshop.

"We are excited about bringing in an expert from C-2 Education to talk about how students can prepare themselves to get accepted by one of their dream schools. Their individualized instruction with a curriculum that is designed around each student's strengths and weaknesses gets the job done," says Jack Schacht, founder of My College Planning Team (www.MyCollegePlanningTeam.com).

"I also like that C-2's tutors all score in the top 5 percent in their respective fields and receive rigorous and ongoing training," Schact added. "This high level of competence is what makes it all work."
