Queen of the Rosary Students Volunteer at Feed My Starving Children

The Lenten season is about prayer, sacrifices, and almsgiving. On Thursday, March 21, Queen of the Rosary students in grades 5-8, their teachers, and volunteer chaperones spent the morning at Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) in Schaumburg. The students and adults hand-packed food, filling 183 boxes with 39,528 meals designed especially for starving children.

This is the third year that Queen of the Rosary students and their teachers participated in the service project at Feed My Starving Children, a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding children who are starving in body and spirit.

Queen of the Rosary School serves preschool through grade eight, with full and half day preschool and kindergarten programs. Additionally, the school offers before and after school care.
