Elias Kent Kane DAR gives American History Essay Award

The Elias Kent Kane Chapter of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution was honored to welcome their American History Essay winner Chase Hofmann to the chapter's February meeting.

A hearty and most earned congratulation go to Chase. His essay will be forwarded to the next level of NSDAR competition.

The chapter wishes to extend gratitude and thanks to Ruth Werst for her work on behalf of the American History Essay Contest.

The Elias Kent Kane Chapter is based in St. Charles.

At the next meeting on Saturday, April 6, there will be a program on "Preserving Our Story" with speaker Mary Helfrich, District IV Director, at 10 a.m.
