Sibling restaurants to join George Trois
Starting in the first week of May, award-winning French restaurant George Trois will be joined by two sibling restaurants - Aboyer and Silencieux - at the same Winnetka location. "This is a project that I've been working on for over a year," said chef Michael Lachowicz. "We've been here for 14 years now and it's time for a change. I've listened to my customers and am very excited to bring these two new experiences to Winnetka." Aboyer will focus on French and American dishes and mod-fusion craft cocktails in a quick-service brasserie style while Silencieux (the French translation for "quiet") will offer a calm high-quality dining experience without the bustle. An interior refresh is happening over the next few months at George Trois. When it does reopen in early May, the award-winning restaurant will continue to craft innovative cuisine plated in a refined setting. Hours at Aboyer will be 5:30 to 11 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. A limited number of reservations will be accepted; the restaurant will be walk-in friendly. Silencieux will be open from 5:30 to 11 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday; reservations are required.
