ZF Aftermarket Gives Back to the Local Community

In the spirit of the holidays, ZF Aftermarket collaborated with CASA Lake County, Wheeling Township and the Northern Illinois Food Bank to collect everything from Christmas gifts to food. All donations went to benefit local families in need.

ZF Aftermarket participated in Wheeling Township's annual Adopt A Family Program, which partners families in need from neighboring towns with the donors who want to make their holiday celebration special. ZF employees donated over $1,250 in clothing and toys that went to benefit 14 children and 11 adults this 2018 holiday season.

Additionally, ZF hosted a fundraiser to raise money for CASA Lake County, a child advocate organization in the local community. Employees held an interoffice bake sale and hosted a "Caroling for CASA" contest, where employees nominated members of the executive management team to sing Christmas carols through donations. In all, ZF raised more than $250 for CASA.

ZF Cares

From all levels of the organization, ZF employees showed support for local causes.

"In the giving spirit of the holiday season, we wanted to extend a hand to our own neighbors this year: the families and kids in Lake County," said Karly Long, Human Resource Specialist. "It's heartening to know we can make such a positive impact in our community."

A canned food drive is still being held through the end of the month, with all food donated to the Northern Illinois Food Bank; over 300lbs of food has been collected so far.
