Cooper Hong earns two MarCom Awards in international creative competition

Cooper Hong Inc., a brand development and public relations firm, has earned two 2018 MarCom Awards for marketing and communication excellence for projects developed during the past year. The international MarCom Awards program recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals from around the world.

CHI earned a Gold MarCom Award for its work on a six-page capital campaign brochure for St. Charles, Ill.-based Lazarus House, and an Honorable Mention for the development of a four-page executive summary for Advanced Disposal's Midwest Region offices in Batavia, Ill.

"We appreciate receiving such prestigious recognition from our industry peers," said Jane Cooper, president of Cooper Hong Inc. "Winning two MarCom awards this year validates the quality of our work and is a testament to the expertise and talent of our team at CHI."

Roughly 20 percent of the more than 6,000 print and digital entries in the global competition win the Gold Award, while another 10 percent of entries earn an Honorable Mention. Award winners include individual communicators, small- to mid-sized agencies, media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies

Gold MarCom Award - Lazarus House:

CHI designed a capital campaign brochure for Lazarus House to help the organization expand and improve its ability to serve those in need. Founded in 1997, Lazarus House is a not-for-profit organization providing food, safe shelter and support to men, women, and children from Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles and western rural Kane County in Illinois who are homeless or in crisis.

"Making a positive difference for our clients - in this case, helping Lazarus House initiate its capital campaign for the purchase and renovation of a larger, consolidated space - is what energizes our agency," said Jane Cooper, president of Cooper Hong Inc.

Honorable Mention - Advanced Disposal:

The agency also earned a MarCom Honorable Mention for the design and content development of a four-page executive summary for Advanced Disposal's Midwest Region offices in Batavia. The executive summary was developed to help educate city council members and staff in area communities served by the company to the overall value and benefits provided by Advanced Disposal.
