Palatine Chamber of Commerce Hosts Business Expo and Community Showcase
The Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its third annual Business Expo and Community Showcase from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Falcon Park Recreation Center, 2195 N. Hicks Road in Palatine. More than 60 vendors have already registered to participate (the registration deadline is Friday, October 19).
Participating businesses and organizations will be showcasing their products and services; entertainment and interactive demonstrations are scheduled throughout the day, including a short ceremony at the start of the event honoring veterans and active military personnel, due to Veterans Day falling on Sunday, November 11. Other attractions include a 50/50 cash raffle, raffle baskets and dozens of giveaways. Food concessions will be provided by Tap House Grill, and admission is free.
"We're inviting area businesses and organizations to showcase who they are, and what they do to our attendees" said Shawn Jackson Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce president. "Attendance at this event has grown exponentially each year, and we are expecting hundreds to come out and enjoy all of the local offerings. Residents are warmly welcomed to come out and support local businesses and organizations."
Registration is open to all businesses, and Palatine Area Chamber of Commerce membership is not required to participate. Registration forms can be obtained online at palatinechamber.com.
The Presenting Sponsor of this event is Palatine Park District and the Platinum Sponsor is Palatine Bank and Trust. Additional sponsors include: Salon Lorrene, Midtown Athletic Club, Palatine Public Library, Verbic Orthodontist and JP Wood Martial Arts America.
