Salem United Methodist Church Barrington IL Announces Pastor Laura Barkley

Rev. Laura Barkley has been appointed as the new pastor for Salem United Methodist Church at 115 E. Lincoln Ave., in downtown Barrington effective August 1.

Rev. Barkley was recommended by the Methodist Bishop Sally Dyck and subsequently chosen as one of 40 participants nationwide to complete a special two year program in the Young Pastors Network. She has served in several churches in the Rockford, Belvidere, and most recently Palos Heights. She is married 19 years to her husband, Craig, and together they are raising their family of 7 children. Salem United Methodist Church welcomes everyone to regular Sunday Services held at 10:30 am.
